Ostheimer Wooden Toys

Small Figures, Big Imaginations

Ostheimer wooden figures are handcrafted with a wonderfully simple, storybook feel. Discover animals from the farm, forest and faraway places, each hand-carved and hand-painted to leave plenty of room for a child’s imagination. A wolf can become the hero of a forest adventure, a penguin can set off across an icy world and a horse can carry a whole make-believe village into the afternoon.

Build a World, One Figure at a Time

Start with an animal your child already loves, then add figures slowly to create a collection that grows with their stories. Woodland animals pair beautifully with blocks, trees and play silks, while farm animals invite classic pretend-play scenes. The open-ended shapes work well for children who enjoy inventing their own worlds rather than following a prescribed set of steps. Check individual product pages for age guidance, as some figures may include small parts and are intended for children ages 3 and up.

An Heirloom-Feeling Gift
