Three months in, before a single tooth shows, everything is already going in the mouth: a knuckle, the crib rail, the corner of a board book. The Wild Teether gives a baby something better to reach for instead. Sized to fit inside a clenched fist, it's easy for a baby to grab and steer to whichever spot actually aches, and the shape stays in a workable position even when it's held upside down or sideways.

Textured ridges along the body give the gums a firm surface to press into, since most of the chewing that happens during teething occurs well before the first tooth ever shows, and it continues for months afterward. It's rounded on every side with no edge to catch a lip or a finger, and it's light enough for a small hand to lift and easy to find at the bottom of a diaper bag.

Details:

• How to use it. Hand it over. Wash before first use. Some parents chill it in the fridge for a few minutes first — a lot of babies prefer the cool silicone on a sore gum. Wipe with a damp cloth after each session, or wash in warm soapy water and air dry.
• Who it's for. Babies 3 months and up, through the full teething stretch — usually into the second year. Light enough for a small hand to lift, easy to find at the bottom of a diaper bag, simple enough that daycare and grandparents need no instructions.
• Gifting.Compact enough to add to a feeding bundle, sturdy enough to survive a daycare drop-off.
• Made from natural silicone found in sand using a manufacturing process that meets the highest environmental standards. Free from harmful chemicals and featuring 100% water-based and food-safe inks that are injected into the silicone instead of applied on top.
• 100% premium food-grade silicone
